Weekly Update for Truscott Elementary-Dual Language School
From Mrs. Hanford
Please join us to celebrate Truscott Elementary School at the Thompson School District Board meeting on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 6:00 pm. Several Truscott students will be presenting the great work they are doing in English and Spanish. Also, Truscott will be receiving the Governor's Distinguished Improvement Award celebrating our student's exceptional growth. This award will be highlighted during the Board Meeting. We are extremely proud of the growth our students make each day!
To attend please arrive around 5:50 pm and enter the board room at 800 S. Taft Avenue. Students and staff are encouraged to wear their Truscott shirts or red. The Truscott portion should be over by 6:30 pm, and families are able to leave at this time if needed. We hope you are able to join us in celebrating the great work occurring at Truscott!
Enjoy your extended weekend!

Annual Family Check-In (AFC)
Annual Family Check-In (AFC)
Once again it is time for families to review their Annual Family Check-In (AFC) information. It is important to complete this step as we start gearing up for the next school year.
Please share this message with your school community. Here is some example text:
The Annual Family Check-In is required for ALL current students in Thompson School District. Families are required to have a parent or guardian in the student’s current primary household review and sign permission forms and update (if needed) the student’s household information, emergency contacts, and health information.
Annual Family Check-In is located in the Parent Portal Account. For assistance, please contact Portal@TSD.org.
Please register as a volunteer
If you would like to attend field trips with your child in the next coming months, please make sure you have registered as a volunteer through the Thompson School Distirct website.
