Congratulations to the Cupid Court!
At the Cupid Ball, the HS Student Council held a random drawing for Cupid Court. One girl and one boy from each class was picked from a bucket. They won a Taco Bell gift card and received a light up Cupid headband and XOXO glasses to wear! Everyone had a great time!
The girls are: Sabrina Markey, Elena Nelson, Ava Marttila, and Callie Picucci
The boys are: Thien Ngyuen, Evan Copley, Jace Solka, and DiAngelo Saldana
IM-K Community Schools Spelling Bee
The Iron Mountain-Kingsford Community Schools District Spelling Bees were held this week for Bishop Baraga and IMPS 5th - 8th graders.
These top 2 spellers from each grade level are moving on to compete at the Regional Spelling Bees hosted by IM-K Community Schools being held at Kingsford on Tuesday, February 18th. Congratulations to all spellers who qualified to participate in the bee as well as to the champions and runners up, listed below!

Congratulations to the 5-12th Grade Student of the Week, Annaliese Lucas!
Annaliese Lucas, grade 12, is the daughter of Melissa Foster-Jaska (Tim Jaska) and Jake Lucas (Nicole Lucas). Annaliese is a dedicated, compassionate, intelligent young woman who is actively involved in our school community. She puts in great effort both in her academic pursuits and extracurricular activities. While at IMHS, Annaliese has been involved in Art Club, Environmental Club, Tri-Hi-Y, Key Club, Varsity Club, Student Council, YAC, Mountaineer Mindset, Youth in Government, Science Olympiad, and National Honor Society. She has also played tennis, volleyball, and softball. Annaliese is a devoted Mountaineer and we are extremely proud of her!

Dear Mountaineer families and fans,
We are excited to debut "Hudl", our new athletic streaming platform to replace "NFHS".
(Note: NFHS will still be used for MHSAA tournaments)
Streaming prices are as follows:
$5.00/sporting event
$20.00/season/sport (all levels included)
$60.00/year (All broadcasted sports: Football, Basketball, Wrestling, Volleyball, Soccer)

PTO ANNOUNCEMENT
Please use all 2024 Super One receipts at the January school store!
Starting in February we will only be able to accept receipts from January 2025 until our February date.
Starting in 2025 Super One will only be accepting receipts on a quarterly basis (example January-March 2025 receipts must be submitted by the end of March)
We realize how much our students look forward to our monthly school store so moving forward we will be accepting both cash and receipts every month!
