Principal's Message
Dear Lincoln Families,
We have only a few days left until we head into Thanksgiving Break. Lincoln students and staff have been working hard these past few months and our iREADY results show that! I am so excited to share our iREADY results below. Due to our amazing growth, our students have earned the FUN ZONE. Students will be participating in the FUN Zone next week. Congratulations to all of our students for their amazing growth. I am beyond proud of ALL of our students for working hard!
We are now in Session 2 of ELOP clubs. If you would like to see all of the clubs Lincoln is offering, please click here for more information. You can access the interest form, flyers for clubs, and contact information using our ELOP Dashboard. We are excited about all of the clubs Lincoln is able to offer our students.
Thank you to all of our families for participating in our monthly Leopard's Eat Out Nights and our school fundraisers. We have earned a total of $12,031.75 so far this school year. The money earned helps raise money for field trips for our students. We appreciate all of your support and efforts!
Lastly, I want to remind everyone that Lincoln holds student safety as our highest priority. In order to exercise an abundance of caution, we will NOT be allowing Treats or candies from parents during the school hours. Please do not send treats of any kind during the Holiday Season. I appreciate your support in this manner.
Thank you for your support and dedication. Together Everyone Achieves More #TEAM

Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent teacher conference week is scheduled for November 18-November 22. This is a time for you to meet with your child's teacher, learn about your child's progress. During this time you will receive a report from your child's teacher and will be able to ask questions. Please ensure to attend these conferences and be an active participant in your child's education. We value the partnership between home and school and look forward to meeting with you. If you do not have a conference scheduled, please call 909-983-9803 to speak to the teacher. Please see flyer below with additional information. As a reminder, there will be no ELOP clubs during the week of parent conferences.
Loving Solutions Parent Workshop
The Ontario-Montclair School District Special Education Local Plan (SELPA) and Equity Division is excited to present Loving Solutions Parent Workshop Series. This is tailored for parents of students with exceptional needs between the ages of 5-10 exhibiting challenging behaviors. The workshop will be held in English and Spanish. The workshops will be a series of 10 sessions, and all 10 sessions are required for participation. Call 909-418-6422 to register or scan the code below.
Library and Early Drop Off
As a reminder, we open our school library before school even starts. This is a time where you can drop your children off early before our gates actually open. Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)
November: SELF-MANAGEMENT: Self-Motivation and Organizational Skills
During the month of November, your child’s SEL instruction will dive deeper into Self-Management focusing on self-motivation and organizational skills to help your child set and achieve goals. Students will also learn to use positive self-talk to recover from a setback or challenge.
December: SOCIAL AWARENESS: Perspective-Taking and Empathy
During the month of December, your child’s SEL instruction will focus on Social Awareness to develop perspective-taking and empathy skills when working with others. Conflict is a normal part of life, and happens between friends, siblings, children, and parents. Effective conflict resolution keeps relationships intact. Students will learn they can reach positive agreements and strengthen their relationships with others.
School Councils and Parent Information
Parents are invited to attend the meetings of the School Site Council (SSC), GATE, Special Education, and Site English Learner Parent Advisory Council (SELPAC) scheduled several times per year. Flyers and Class Dojo announcements are sent home several days before each meeting.
Lincoln's SARC (School Accountability Report Card) and SPSA (School Plan for Student Achievement) are available on our website, but parents may request a hard copy from the school office. Our Parent Involvement Policy and Parent Compact are both included in our handbook.
