Dress Code Reminder
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We have noticed these shoes being worn to school that are not permitted according to our dress code regulations. These shoes pose safety concerns and are inappropriate for our educational environment. Therefore, students will not be allowed to wear any "slippers" to school. We request that your child adhere to the dress code requirements. From this time forward, if students are found with "slippers" on, they will be asked to call home to have appropriate shoes brought to them.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about the dress code. We appreciate your support in maintaining a positive and safe learning environment for all students.
Thank you,
Mrs. Sanks

Residency Affidavit Change for the 2024-2025 School Year
Residency Affidavits can no longer be returned/submitted by student/s! If your student attends Taylor on a Residency Affidavit, this form must be completed by the adult with whom the student and their parent/guardian are living.
New This Year: Residency Affidavits must be notarized and brought to the school by the property owner or person on the lease with ID to submit to school.
Elementary School Residency Affidavits are due in the summer or within 2 weeks after school starts.
Middle School Residency Affidavits are due by the end of May before records roll to Creekland Middle. If affidavits are received after this time, the process must be completed at the new school.

Georgia DOE Special Education Parent Survey
Does your child receive special education services and have an individualized education plan? If so, please participate in the 2024 Annual Parent Involvement Survey for Georgia Families Raising a Student with a Disability. Each year, the Georgia Department of Education asks parents to participate in the survey as part of the state’s Annual Performance Report to the United States Department of Education. Your feedback on the survey also helps our school district better partner with you to help your child be successful. You are receiving this request as the parent/guardian of a student receiving services in Gwinnett County.
The survey is available online in English and Spanish and can be accessed on the Georgia Department of Education website. You may use the following direct link to access the survey.
