Opportunities through CESA 10
CESA 10 is facilitating a professional learning community for Social Studies Teachers. This is your opportunity to learn and grow with your colleagues. We held our first meeting on October 25, 2016.
Our second meeting will be Wednesday, April 12, 2017 and will provide:
- An opportunity to hear David O'Conner, (Bad River Ojibwe) the American Indian Studies Consultant at the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
- An opportunity to network with other area Social Studies teachers regarding curriculum, scope and sequence, projects, technology, and other topics of interest to the group.
- An opportunity to hear about the important work of the Wisconsin Council for the Social Studies from Alisha Neinfeldt, Social Studies teacher in Cadott. The WCSS Spring Conference is March 19 & 20. http://www.wcss-wi.org/
- An opportunity to provide input for future meeting topics

- To be held in the Teleconference Center at CESA 10, from 8:30-3:00 pm, Wednesday April 12, 2017. Lunch will be provided.

- Available at no charge to CESA 10 LS2 & LS2a subscribers. This includes Abbotsford, Altoona, Augusta, Bloomer, Bruce, Cadott, Colby, Eleva-Strum, Gilman, Gilmanton, Greenwood, Lake Holcombe, Loyal, Mondovi, New Auburn, Osseo-Fairchild, Spencer, and Thorp.
