Weekly Update- April 22nd, 2022

Happy Earth Day! Even with the snow day yesterday, we had quite a few in person events this week in celebration of Earth Day. Our 7th-9th grade students were here both Tuesday and Wednesday and participated in the Great Energy Debate. It was incredible to see the students so engaged in a debate and they expressed interest in doing more structured debates in the future.

Our K/1 and 4/5 students were here today doing a STEM oil clean up challenge too. So great to see our students working together to solve a real-life problem.

LTCC Math Tutoring is Back

K-12 Math Tutoring at LTCC is back!

Tuesdays 3-5pm

Wednesdays 3-5pm

Tutoring takes place in the reading mezzanine directly upstairs of the currently blocked off main doors. All you need to do is drop in!

Bread and Broth

Bread and Broth: Starting April 4, Bread & Broth will return to serving Monday Meals, providing a full-course, nutritious hot meal with Second Servings, and “to go” food and food giveaway bags filled with dairy products, fruits, vegetables, breads and more. These dinners will be provided each Monday from 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm at St Theresa Catholic Church Grace Hall, 1041 Lyons Avenue.
