ABLAZE

April is here and the sun is shining all the more! I hope you all are ready for a bright month full of light, hope, and promise as we see new flowers, appreciate the warmer weather, and celebrate Christ's resurrection.

The Lord is my light and my salvation;

whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the stronghold of my life;

of whom shall I be afraid? (Psalm 27:1)

Hope you all have a wonderful start to April! Here's what is coming up in April for Youth Ministry!

We will be starting a new series on stress and anxiety called "Not Okay" in Connection Hour in the Youth Room on Sundays from 9:30-10:30 a.m. The series will start on April 14th.

Week 1: "When you’re not okay, Jesus offers hope."

Week 2: "When people reject you, Jesus never will."

Week 3: "When you feel worried, Jesus can be trusted."

ABLAZE Wednesday nights will continue from 6:30-8:30 p.m. with food, fellowship, games, a message, and small group time.

We will be starting a new series called "Haggai: Building God's Church."

My goal of this series is this:

1. Help youth learn to read the Bible.

2. Help them to find purpose in God's church and to not fear in this purpose.

We will be starting this series on April 10th! (I will be out of town on April 17th at Outdoor Ed, so that's why we're not having ABLAZE that night as of right now).

We'll be going to Georgetown Lake on April 14th from 5-8 p.m.! We'll have fellowship, food, and fun! More details to come soon!

We'll have hang time from 5:30-7 p.m. on April 28th in Zion's Gym.
