Happy Birthday to the U.S. Constitution!
Happy Birthday to the U.S. Constitution!! Students in Mrs. Floyd's government class threw a birthday party for the U.S. Constitution complete with cake, decorations and singing! 🎂🎁🎈🎉🎊
🗽On Sept. 17, 1787, the Founding Fathers signed the U.S. Constitution. Since then, the Constitution has served as the supreme law of the land. The Constitution, along with the Bill of Rights and other amendments, define our government and guarantee our rights.
🔴Each year around Sept. 17, Americans celebrate Constitution Day and Citizenship Day. This is a time we can reflect on the rights and responsibilities of citizenship and what it means to be a U.S. citizen.

Freshmen Explore the Business & Computer Tech Academy!
Students in Academy Exploration classes completed the Business & Computer Tech Academy this past week and were able to experience the Business & Finance, Marketing, Computer Science & Coding, and Web & Computer Support Pathways.
- Business & Finance: Students learned about accounting and business procedures through playing Monopoly and having to journal each cash transaction made!
- Marketing Pathway: Students were led by Mr. Fevold with a Shark Tank: Oreo Edition activity and presentation! Students were instructed to create a new Oreo with a creative package and present their marketing plan to the team of sharks.
- Web & Computer Support // Computer Science & Coding Pathways: Students were led by Mrs. Russo and were each assigned a breakout room of "code" they had to solve and were taught about how important their digital footprint is!
Students that chose this Academy as their top interest also traveled to Mudhouse Coffee in Springfield, JMARK Solutions, & Springfield Sign to learn more about business and marketing and the opportunities available to them.
