Women's Leadership Faculty Fellows Program
The Women's Leadership Faculty Fellows Program was established in 2019 to provide faculty members with dedicated time to develop and hone leadership skills, and gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities confronting higher education, specifically focusing on issues women face in academic administration.
The Women’s Leadership Faculty Fellows Program is administered by the Office of the Provost and facilitated by Dr. Mandy Jarriel, Interim Associate Provost and Director of The Graduate School, and Dr. Liz Speelman, Director of the Outdoor Center and senior lecturer of Outdoor Education. The Women’s Leadership Faculty Fellows Associate is Dr. Kalina Manoylov, Professor of Environmental Sciences. Fellows will attend monthly meetings where they will learn from senior administrators on campus as well as visiting speakers.
For more information, please see the website. Questions about the program may be directed to Dr. Jarriel or Dr. Speelman.
The Fellows for 2024-2025 are:
- Dr. Angela Queen, assistant professor of nursing
- Ms. Tormechi Chambliss, assistant professor of nursing
- Dr. Nah Han, assistant professor of communication
- Dr. Joy Godin, professor of information systems
- Dr. Mary Rickard, associate professor of marketing
Spring 2025 Textbook Adoptions
It is time to submit your textbook requests for Spring 2025.
Please access the adoptions portal online.
Reminders from the bookstore:
- We understand that some positions are still being filled. Once adoptions are known, please submit.
- Ensure that courses that are no text are flagged as such. Please do not write no text when the course is indeed using a text. This is of high importance as students who use financial aid can only use it in the bookstore. If a professor indicates no text, a book will not be on the shelf for any students.
- Be mindful that changing adoptions close to or after class starts causes issues with getting the material in a timely manner. This directly affects all students including those who will be using financial aid, which is only available in the store for a certain period.
- Make sure to visit the university's Barnes & Noble website to see what the student sees in order to verify the right adoption for courses.
- If you plan to send an excel sheet of adoptions, please verify with all professors first to make sure it is correct.
