Potter Jr. High Newsletter
December 2024
Principal's Message
Dear Parents,
I hope this message finds you and your families well as we approach the festive season. As we enter the final month of the year, I wanted to take a moment to update you on some important events and developments at our junior high.
Winter Break: As we approach the end of December, please be reminded that our winter break will commence on Monday, December 23rd and end on Sunday, January 5th. It's a time for our students to rest, rejuvenate, and spend quality time with family and friends. We wish everyone a joyful and relaxing holiday season. We will see you back on Monday, January 6, 2025!
Upcoming Events: We have a series of exciting events planned for the month of December. From academic activities to festive celebrations, there's something for everyone. Please see information on upcoming events further down in the newsletter.
Academic Achievements: I want to take a moment to commend our students for their hard work and dedication throughout the semester. We've seen outstanding achievements in academics, sports, and the arts. Your support at home undoubtedly plays a significant role in their success, and we are grateful for your partnership. We will be honoring our scholars on Wednesday, December 11th. See section below for more information.
Community Outreach: This December, we encourage our students to engage in acts of kindness and community service. Whether it's participating in a food drive, volunteering at a local charity, or simply spreading cheer, we believe in fostering a spirit of compassion and giving. With our focus on reaching out to our Fallbrook community, our school band and ballet folklorico will walk in this year's Fallbrook Christmas parade! We hope to see you there!
Looking Ahead: As we approach the end of the calendar year, it's also a time for reflection and goal-setting. We are excited about the possibilities that the new year holds for our junior high community, and we look forward to continued growth and success.
Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful holiday season and a happy New Year!
Warm regards,
Dr. Gonzalez
