Research shows that attendance is critical to student achievement. We want to emphasize the importance of your student’s attendance. If your student is absent or you plan for your student to have an early dismissal, please email excuse notes to CNAttendance@casdschools.org within three days of the absence.

We look forward to seeing all parents and guardians at our Back-to-School Night this Thursday, September 26th from 6:00PM - 8:00 PM. Remember, this will be a time where our teachers will be sharing important information about your child's grade level and curriculum with a focus on collaboration between staff and families. It is best to come to this event without your child(ren) so that everyone can hear the important information being shared and since all parents and guardians must supervise their children at the event. We cannot wait for you to join us.
This is also a time for the teachers to share general grade level information. Specific information that parents and guardians may want to know about their specific child will be discussed during a phone call, scheduled meeting, or scheduled conference time in November. Parents and guardians may always request a meeting prior to our scheduled conference date and time. We appreciate your cooperation.

Grades K-2 Parent Schedule: Please follow this schedule if your child is in grades K-2.

6:30-7:00 Session I Meet The Teacher
7:00-7:30 Session II Meet The Teacher
7:30-8:00 Meet the Related Arts Team & PTA in the cafeteria
Grades 3-5 Parent Schedule: Please follow this schedule if your child is in grades 3-5.

If you have multiple children and they reside in Kindergarten through 5th grade, then please create your own schedule accordingly. You may not be able to attend the large group presentations in the gymnasium or cafeteria, such as the Principal and Related Arts presentations, or every grade level presentation, but that is understandable.
