Dear Trojan Families,
Report cards were shared with students on Monday, October 21st. I am thrilled to announce that we have over 700 Trojans who have earned Principal Scholar & Honor Roll recognition for the first quarter. Others have shown great effort in their own special way and we are excited for our all of our students who are working hard and making improvements.
If you haven't already, please discuss your student's achievements and challenges, create a plan for improvement (if needed), and be sure to reach out to teachers for support. I would like to ask each family to encourage students to devote a minimum of 15 minutes a night per class. This dedicated time should include reviewing notes, working on upcoming assignments, studying for tests, and staying organized by creating to do lists and placing important dates on calendars. This power hour should be a no phone zone in a well lit area to focus, limit distractions, and maximize productivity.
In addition, students are encouraged to find a friend or Study Buddy by reaching out to those who actively participate in class to collaborate, motivate, and push each other towards academic growth and success. By setting study schedules, this shared accountability will minimize procrastination and foster a disciplined approach to learning. I truly believe this heightened sense of accountability fuels a strong work ethic, driving students to give their best effort consistently.
Parents, please know that your dedication and support are invaluable to us, and we believe that together, we can create a learning environment that fosters excellence and achievement for every student. Thank you for being an essential part of our Trojan family.
