Saints Calling
North Clackamas Christian School
December 1, 2024
NCCS Mission: We equip graduates to apply Biblical truth as disciples of Christ.
Dear Friends of NCCS,
As we reflect on the 2024-2025 school year, we are filled with gratitude for God's continued blessings on North Clackamas Christian School. Your partnership in our mission has been instrumental in shaping young lives and equipping them to be disciples of Christ.
A Year of Continued Blessings
This year we've witnessed significant growth and impact through-
Healthy Enrollment: Our school community welcomed 36 new students and retained a significant percentage (90%) of students, with a total enrollment of 298 students who are eager to learn and grow in their faith.
Dedicated Faculty: We've strengthened our faculty with talented and committed educators who inspire our students and support their spiritual development.
Strong Programs: We continue to invest in programs that enrich our students' development- Biblical instruction, choir, band, athletics/fitness, STEM, and leadership.
Building Updates: Accomplished through available reserve funds ($125,000; not in the annual budget or loans), we have been able to significantly improve the school property: connected preschool building to city sewer, installed an adult restroom, installed new lockers and flooring and painted the interior of the secondary building.
Looking Ahead: Your Support, Our Future
As we look to the future, we are excited about the opportunities to further our mission. Your continued support will enable us to address these priorities:
Recruit and Retain Exceptional Faculty: Investing in our faculty ensures a high-quality Christian education for our students. $200,000 (annually)
Expand Financial Aid: We are committed to making a Christian education accessible to all families, regardless of their financial circumstances. $200,000 (annually)
Enhance Campus Facilities: Modernizing our campus will provide an optimal learning environment for our students. Our immediate focus is to see a new parking lot (est.$100,000) by Spring 2025, of which we are at 75% of that goal. Additionally, we are looking at re-roofing a building ($65,000) and replacing two hot water heaters ($18,000). Once these projects are completed, our focus will be to renovate student bathrooms (est.$200,000). With aging buildings and years of deferred maintenance, there is a continual need to fix, improve, or replace existing structures on the property. Total $383,000
How You Can Make a Difference
Your generosity can have a profound impact on the lives of our students. Here are a few ways you can support NCCS:
Prayer: Your prayers are essential to our mission. It is a blessing to us!
Financial Contributions: Your gifts directly support our priorities, including financial aid, faculty compensation, and facility improvements. The above priorities can’t happen without your generosity this year. NOTE: NCCS is a Qualified charitable organization for your end of year retirement required minimum distributions (RMD).
Annual Sponsorship: Partner with us through an annual sponsorship to benefit the annual fund (budget) and specific initiatives (reserves). This is fully outlined on our school website.
We are asking for you to consider NCCS in your year-end giving, as well as within your estate planning strategies. Please see how to give on our donor webpage. We believe that together, we can make a lasting difference. Your support now will be impactful in helping us fulfill our mission of equipping students to apply Biblical truth as disciples of Christ.
Thank you for your partnership and generosity.
Wishing you and your family a special Christmas season and a very blessed New Year.
Pastries with Parents
Each month administration will host a time of community fellowship for parents of children PreK-12th grade. There will be a time of prayer, a devotional, sharing, learning, and connection, along with some tasty pastries served. All parents join us Friday, Dec. 6 at 8:15 am, on the blacktop , then we will go to an indoor space to meet. We will focus our time using a video series on Gen Z from The Center for Truth in Love. Future gatherings will be from 8:15-9:00 am. Put these dates on your calendar and plan to join us: Feb. 7, Mar. 14, Apr. 11, and May 9.
ATTENTION: Arrival and Dismissal Safety Message
Please review these important safety details:
- When dropping off students (elementary AND secondary), pull all the way up to the crosswalk nearest to the orange cones and staff member on duty. DO NOT STOP AT THE GYM ENTRANCE AND LET SECONDARY STUDENTS OUT OF A VEHICLE.
- When using the drop off and pick up lanes, do not cut out of line and use other lanes to go around or cut through to other exits. This presents a safety concern for those walking and driving.
- Only approved adults may pick up elementary students with an ID number tag. Not acceptable are numbers on cell phones, written on paper, or just by familiarity. Those without the tag will need to go to the office. Extra tags are available in the office.
- Students and adults must use crosswalks and sidewalks when coming and leaving for the school day.
- When using the Winco parking lot, DO NOT STOP TO LET STUDENTS OUT of a vehicle while in the driveway. Park and walk to the gate. Do not block the traffic flow. Please leave the parking spot open that leads to the gate into the school property so that others may use this as a walkthrough area.

We hope our families are attending a Christian church and are involved in that community, in person.
