Welcome to the Pennridge School Board monthly update. To foster better communication with the public we are providing a monthly executive summary of our actions. These are highlights of this month's Board meeting.

Each month, we will also include links to specific times of the video of our meeting to help you navigate to specific areas of interest. I hope you find this information useful and easy to access.

We welcome feedback from the public and the School District welcomes you at the meetings and invites you to participate in the meetings' public comment sections.

From the President's Report: "Over the past few months, we have been reviewing many Administrative Regulations and Policies. For those who are not familiar with these, the Policies are those that are approved by the board and the administrative regulations are the superintendent’s communication to staff and the public on how we implement those policies throughout the schools.

These administrative regulations are also reviewed by the board. You will see more policy changes over the next few months. In the meantime, we have asked the administration to review all the administrative regulations to review their legality and continuity throughout the school. We want to ensure that all students are treated equally. We are working with the Administration to resolve these outstanding issues. We believe that the Administration should be writing all policies and administration regulations with our guidance. This is the best way to get buy-in from our staff and community."

• The Pennridge School District recognized our Grounds Crew for all of their tireless work
• The Superintendent recognized dozens of students for Academic and Creative Excellence in our classrooms as well as many of our Pennridge High School Athletes for their excellence in Winter Sports

• The Board Approves an Exciting Trip for the PHS Ski and Snowboard Club

• Pennridge High School will offer a new 12th Grade Social Studies course focused on American Government, Citizenship, and Economics
