CES Happenings
Dear CES Family,
I have nothing but amazing things to say about our 2024 Jog-a-Thon: WHAT A SUCCESS! Reason 1: the kids loved it. The culminating moment, the actual running event, was so much fun (see pictures below). Reason 2: the fundraising event was incredibly successful, with $18,000 being raised! This will fund some tremendous opportunities for our students this year. We're so grateful. People to thank: Mrs. Geer & Mrs. Spooner for spearheading the event, the teachers for carrying things forward in the classroom, and you, our parents, for your overwhelming support. Oh, and also your extended family and friends, too...we know they got pressured into giving as well. :) The support of our school by our community never ceases to amaze me.
On another subject: bus drop-off times. Please understand that these will vary some in the afternoon. Why? It's contingent on who takes the bus home. If there is not a need to go to, say, Martin Ranch, that alters the following drop-off times by a few minutes. Pick-up times in the morning are stable because the driver has to assume that all students are going to be picked up. Thanks for your understanding here. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. The safety of our students always comes first.
