Words cannot express how humbled and grateful I am for the outpouring of love and support I received on Tuesday evening. Your presence meant the world to me. It is truly an honor to be part of such a vibrant and supportive community like Lenox. Thank you for making me feel so valued and appreciated.

MCAS Testing Update

Congratulations to our 3rd and 4th graders for finishing their MCAS testing! We are so proud of their hard work and dedication throughout the process. The 5th grade will be taking their science MCAS test this week, Monday and Tuesday. We wish them the best of luck!

Celebrating Success: Ice Cream Social

To honor all our students' hard work throughout the year, we're hosting an ice cream social this Thursday! Mark your calendars and join us for this fun-filled event. Volunteers are needed! If you're interested in helping out, please see the information below.

Art Show & Choral Concert

Get ready to be amazed! This Thursday evening, we'll be showcasing our students' artistic talents at the annual art show. The hallways will be adorned with their beautiful creations. Following the art show, at 6:30 PM, our talented chorus will take the stage to serenade us with a selection of songs. You won't want to miss it!

Staying Cool This Week

With summer-like temperatures on the horizon, please ensure your child brings a water bottle to school each day. They can refill it throughout the day to stay hydrated, especially if they're in an upstairs classroom.

Library Book Circulation Ending: Please note that the circulation of library books will end on June 4th. We kindly ask that you assist your child in locating any library books they may have borrowed and ensure they are returned to the school library by the end of the school year.

Overdue Books Notices: Ms. Tone, our dedicated librarian, has compiled a list of books that have not yet been returned to the library. She will be sending notices to families regarding these overdue books. Your cooperation in locating and returning these books is greatly appreciated.

ICE CREAM SOCIAL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Morris Ice Cream Social 2024 is Thursday, May 23rd. Help is needed with set, scooping and serving. Please click the links for more information.

Lenox Cultural Council

The Lenox Cultural Council is asking the public to please respond to their survey which provides funding to various local organizations. This past year, Jay Mankita's Makerspace at Morris was funded by the LCC.

They are hoping that those within the school system, and working with students, will submit requests for next school year (submissions are open now through Mass Cultural Coucil) as this is a terrific opportunity to gain programming for the children of Lenox.
