(二) 熱食服務

Hot Food Service - 3/2

謝謝Joyce 和 James為我們帶來炒米粉！我遠遠地拍照，就聞到了你們炒米粉的香味。 James告訴我，他的炒米粉是用肉絲、胡蘿蔔、高麗菜、蝦米和木耳做的。非常感謝您提供如此均衡的營養熱食服務，同時溫暖了我們的胃和心！

Thank you, Joyce and James, for bringing us delicious 炒米粉(Chǎo mǐfěn = Fried rice noodles)! I could smell the aroma of your 炒米粉 while taking picture from a distance. James told me that his 炒米粉 were made of shredded pork, carrots, cabbage, dried shrimps, and wood ear. Thank you for the very balanced and nutritious hot food that warms both our stomachs and hearts!

(三) 3/9 線上上課

💻 Online class - 3/9

友善提醒各位，三月九日這一天，Shaker Middle School 教室不開放。

Friendly reminder, on March 9th, the Shaker Middle School campus will be closed.

我們線上教室將於9:50開放，10點開課。請於前一天，準備好課本、習作、文具、上線用的3C電子產品，或手工藝材料。小小班的家長，請記得將老師家的地址輸入 GPS，備好書包、水壺、點心。

The online classroom will be opened at 9:50am, and the class will start at 10am. Please have your textbook, workbook, stationary, and 3C electronics be ready the night before. For tradition K, be sure you have teacher's home address in GPS and packed everything for the class and recess.

也許有諸多不便，但十分謝謝您的體諒與配合！

(五) 識字識詞比賽

Academic Contest - Start from 3/16

我們一年一度的傳統班識字識詞比賽，及CSL識字問答比賽將於3/16打開序幕。行事曆如下：

Our Academic Contest for traditional class and Oral Proficiency Interview for CSL class start on March 16th. Schedule is as follows :

3/16: 五年級(5th grade)
4/6: 四年級(4th grade)、六年級(6th grade)、傳統班幼稚園(Kㄅㄆㄇㄈ)
4/13: 一年級(1st grade)、二年級(2nd grade)
4/20: CSL 1, 2, 3

傳統班識字識詞的範圍，即題庫，是以該學年及前一學年學過的字詞為主，共100個字，60個詞，請家長協助學生複習範圍題庫內的所有字詞。教務主任將自其中抽出字詞，來當考題。一年級抽10個字，10個詞；二年級以上抽15個字，15個詞。而學生需讀出題目，並依據題目造詞或造句。

The Academic Contest question bank for traditional classes is mainly based on words learned in this and the previous school year, with a total of 100 characters and 60 phrases. We would like to ask parents to assist students reviewing all the words in the question bank. The academic director will draw 10 characters and 10 phrases for first grade students; the second grade students and above will get 15 characters and 15 phrases in the contest. And the students need to read out the character or phrase and make a term or sentence out of it.

根據以往成功經驗，每天花一些時間複習一小部分，化整為零、將學習戰線拉長的效益最高，也最能增加學習動力與自信心。

Based on the pass experience, prepare for the contest little by little everyday not only reinforce study material and help you achieve the best performance but also boost confidence in learning.

又老子曰《道德經‧六十四章》：「合抱之木，生於毫末；九層之臺，起於累土；千里之行，始於足下。」讓我們一步一腳印，一同努力，一起享受達成目標的喜悅！
