Pre-Payment Options
Families are encouraged to pre-pay for meals by using myschoolbucks.com. To register your child, you will need the nine-digit student ID number listed on your child's report card. Payments may also be taken at the register. Parents may send checks (payable to Williamsville food service) or cash with students to be placed on account. Prepaid meal accounts help the lunch lines go faster and gives students more time to eat, relax, and play. It also gives you the peace of mind of not having to worry about looking for lunch money every day or worry that it might get lost, stolen or used for other things other than lunch.
Things to know:
If you have more than one child in the District you can handle all online prepayments from the same online account.
Payments may be made with a major credit or debit card
In order to use the online prepayment service, a small convenience fee for each transaction will be assessed to cover the bank fees. The convenience fee is $2.75 per deposit transaction. Parents placing money into multiple meal accounts will only be assessed the $2.75 fee once per deposit transaction. Williamsville School District will not profit from the use of this site.
The District Food Service Department will provide one bonus meal for your child for every $92(K-4) or $104 (5-12) you put on their account in one transaction.
STUDENT MEAL PAYMENT OPTIONS/REFUNDS.
Parent/Guardians/Students may pay by check (Made out to Williamsville Food Service), cash or Pay online @ MySchoolBucks.com
Funds should be maintained in accounts throughout the school year so that your student has funds available for meals. There can be no charging of second meals, ala cart, or snacks.
Any remaining student account funds at the end of the school year "graduate" to your child's next grade/school
A written or email request for the account balance for a withdrawn or graduated student is required to obtain a refund. The refund check will be sent to the address on file. It may take 3-5 weeks to receive the check.
Unclaimed funds must be requested within one year

MySchoolBucks account holders – Increase in MySchoolBucks
Convenience Fees Starting March 7th 2024
The Williamsville Central School District’s Child Nutrition Program provides parents with an option to use the MySchoolBucks lunch payment program. Our District makes this lunch payment program available to parents as a convenient way to pay for their child or children’s lunches. The District wishes to notify parents that there is fee of $3.25 per transaction. It is important to state that the District is not affiliated with the MySchoolBucks program and it does not receive any monetary compensation from them when parents choose to use it to pay for school lunches.
Send Check or Cash
You can always bring money personally or send it with your student. Please place it in an envelope marked clearly with your student's name, their ID #, their teacher's name, the $ amount and the check #. Turn in prepaid deposits to the cafeteria cashier(s) or school office.
Download and Print Out a pre-formatted #10 Envelope for making Deposits
If you choose to bring money to school personally or send it with your student, please put it in an envelope clearly marked with the student's first and last name, their ID #, their teacher's name, and the amount enclosed.
Meal Applications
Free and Reduced Price Meals are available to families who believe they may qualify. If your family chooses to apply please complete a Free and Reduced Meal Price Application Form and return (completed) to any school office. Applications will be sent home in September. They will also be available on WITS or in your child's school main office. You will be notified by mail of your child's status. Until notification you must provide your child with a lunch or lunch money. The utmost discretion is used when administering this program. We encourage families to fill out this application if they meet the criteria.
Only complete one application per family. The information you give will be used to determine or prove your child's eligibility for free or reduced-priced meals. This information may also be used for other state or federally funded school benefits.
Factors considered in the application process are household size and total household income. HOUSEHOLD SIZE is considered all persons, related or unrelated: Including parents, children, grandparents who live in your home and share living expenses. The TOTAL HOUSEHOLD INCOME is the income each household member received last month before taxes - this includes wages, social security, pension, unemployment, welfare, child support, alimony, and any other cash income.
Foster children are categorically eligible for free meal benefits. An application is not needed yet there does need to be documentation of status by a state or local entity familiar with the child's status. Foster children may be included in the household application as part of the household size.
