September 11-15 Redhawks will be celebrating Digital Citizenship week! Throughout the week students and teachers will be discussing how a good digital citizen protects their personal information, uses good judgment, and treats others with respect when connecting online.

Your students are in PE/ Running Club the same days each week. On these days, please have them wear appropriate footwear. Tennis shoes are preferred, please avoid sandals, Crocs, slides, or other open toed shoes /heels, for your student’s safety.

The school and your child's teacher will be emailing you a newsletter each week to keep you informed of what is going on school-wide and in your child's individual classes. These newsletters are also a great resource if you have a question about upcoming events. Emails are sent to the parent or guardian who is listed in the CFISD registration paperwork as Guaridan 1. Please check to see if you are or your child's other guardian are receiving these weekly emails and contact Rennell@cfisd.net if you are not so that we can update your email address in our official school records. Additionally, we share lots of pictures, reminders, and updates via our social media channels. Please follow Rennell on your favorite channel! The Rennell Library will be hosting a library orientation for anyone that would like to volunteer in the library this school year. The orientation will be on Friday, September 8th at 10:00 am. You may pre-register with the following link. Please arrive a little earlier to check in through the front office. We demonstrate how to use Destiny, shelve books as well as locate books .
