A Message from Dr. Venghaus
Bear Branch Family,
Next week we will have our Blue Out Pep-Rally to celebrate our Fall Sports. Thanks to Student Council for gathering sponsors, every student and staff member received a free Blue Out t-shirt to wear that day. Please remind students to wear their Blue Out shirts on Friday!
Next week is also red ribbon week. We will have activities throughout the week for students. We also encourage students to participate in the themed dress up days. Please remember all students must remain in dress code.
Is your student missing a jacket, lunch box, or water bottle? Our lost and found is over flowing! Please encourage students to come look for lost items. Any items not claimed at the end of the semester will be donated.
Proud to be your student's principal,
Julia

As you know, College and Careers is a required course for 8th grade students. The class teaches students about high school endorsements, pathways, and 4-year plans. This year, Magnolia High School will be hosting two parent meetings (once in the fall and again in the spring) for parents to obtain this information.
Fall Parent Meeting - Students currently in the College and Careers classes. Tuesday, November 19th, 6:30pm at MHS Auditorium. Students will bring their completed four year plan with them to the meeting.
Spring Parent Meeting - Students who will take College and Careers next semester (or those who missed the first meeting)

Volleyball
The 8th grade B team Lady Bears played a hard fought game last night against Montgomery. We unfortunately lost in 3 games, but it was a good game. The girls gave it their all the entire game! Shout out goes to Kayle MacMillan for her amazing serves that gave us a lead in the first game! Another shout out goes to Hayden Hinkleman for her consistent passing on the back row! We are very proud of these ladies. We look forward to ending the season on a high note against Magnolia next week!
The 8th grade A team Lady Bears came up short last night against Montgomery. The girls played a hard fought game. I would like to give a shout out to Mikayla Middleton for always putting all she has out on the court! Another shout out goes to Jamie Hunt for her consistent passes throughout the game. I know these girls are going to come back next week ready to beat Magnolia Junior High to close out the season! Go Lady Bears!
The 7th grade B volleyball team brought the heat and took home a win against Montgomery last night. Winning in just 2 sets with final scores of 25-10 and 25-20. Isabella Osborn led the team in serves with 16 out of 17. Coach Granados is so proud of your accomplishments this season ladies! The Lady Bears have a few adjustments to make but are looking forward to taking the heat to our rival the Magnolia JH Mustangs next Thursday in our final game of the season! Let's go Lady Bears!!!!
