JROTC Rifle Team Takes First at State!
A massive congrats to Ozark's JROTC rifle team who recently placed first at Missouri State 3PAR Championship! Ozark's precision team took home the championship and the sporter team took home second place. Individuals also walked away with some new hardware: Cadet Daniel placed first and Cadet Wells took second! Congrats Tigers on your awesome season. We are so proud of all your hard work!
This week, junior Toby Thompson has been selected as our Artist of the Week! Toby is a member of Ozark's Men's Chorus where he is a major asset, according to Assistant Choir Director Connor Gately
"Having Toby in Men's Chorus has been a game changer for us," Gately said. "Not only does he have a powerful singing voice, but he is also a great leader. He sets a great example for the bass section everyday. We're lucky to have him."

This week, OHS junior Hudson Roberts has been selected as an Athlete of the Week! Hudson is a member of Ozark's boys basketball team, where he is a major scorer, just recently making a combined seven 3-pointers in the last two games Ozark has played, according to Head Coach Mark Schweitzer.
"Hudson has had an excellent start to the season this year," Schweitzer said. "He has led the team in scoring, averaging over 20 points, and has really shown himself to be one of the better players in southwest Missouri."

This week, OHS sophomore Josey Roberts has been selected as an Athlete of the Week! Josey has had a stellar start to the basketball season, according to head coach Brandon Clift.
“Josey has averaged 14 points per game in our last four games," Clift said. "After playing junior varsity last year as a freshman, Josey has done a great job stepping into a varsity starting position this year. I feel like she will continue to grow as player as she becomes more comfortable playing at the varsity level. "

This week OHS junior Dylan Yarbrough has been selected as our Tiger of the Week! Dylan is one of OHS's awesome FFA officers and is an incredible asset to the program helping out wherever he can, according to FFA Sponsor Heath Wright.
"Dylan is a very involved student," Wright said. "He helps students in the shop, makes repairs, and can solve just about any problem. We can always count on him. He also does a lot of cooking for our FFA events. Dylan is looking to pursue a career in Agricultural Education."

Coach Smith Named MSHVCA Middle/Junior High Coach of the Year
Help us give a massive congrats to Coach Tricia Smith for being named Missouri High School Volleyball Coaches Association - Middle/Junior High School Coach of the Year. Coach Smith, who teaches at OHS, coaches OJH's eighth grade volleyball team and has for seven years. This season her team had a record of 15-1-1, were COC Champions and COC Tournament Champions. We are so lucky to have such an awesome coach like Coach Smith helping lead and guide Ozark's volleyball players! Thanks for all you do Coach Smith! Go Tigers!

Girls Basketball Players Honored for Completing the 10,000 Shot Challenge
During a game versus Carthage, several Ozark girls basketball players were honored for completing the 10,000 shot challenge this past season. The challenge, which players in grades 7-12 have the opportunity participate in, encourages players to keep honing their skills over the summer by taking/making 10,000 baskets. Ozark had 10 players complete the challenge:
