SECO's Read-a-thon Fundraiser

Congratulations to all our OBOB Readers! We are so impressed with how much you read, how well you cooperated, your sportsmanship, and how much resilience you showed while participating in this one-of-a-kind OBOB tournament! The teams that battled in our grade-level championships did so well. Scores were very high!

As you know we are in the midst of getting the school ready to welcome Hybrid students back on campus. There is a lot that goes into this planning and preparation and we will be updating you as we go along. For now please know that we have a team of Sato Staff members working together with the Ready School Safe Learners guide book to come up with plans, protocols and logistics specific to our needs here at Sato. We are also meeting with Leadership from Vose, William Walker and Hazeldale as they all share the same building design at Sato.

Start and End times for Sato:

• Morning In-Person Hybrid Instruction Session: 9:00 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.
• Afternoon Live Online CDL Instruction Session: 12:15 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

The last day for the Library Book Bus will be on Wednesday, March 17th.

• The Library Book Bus is unable to continue during Hybrid.

• We are working with Library Services to facilitate ways for students to access library books in both Hybrid and CDL.

• Each year the District surveys students, staff, and parents to gather information for planning, program evaluation, and assessment of progress on the District's Strategic Plan.

• The student survey takes about 20 minutes during the regular school day. The data gathered from the survey are anonymous; your child will not put his/her name or other identifying information on the survey. Like other surveys, results will be presented only about groups. No individual data will be reported.

• Your child may skip questions or stop filling out the survey at any time. Refusing to participate or withdrawing from the survey does not affect your child's grades or class standing in any way. If you or your child does not want to participate, your child can read or do some other activity while his or her classmates complete the survey.

• A copy of the survey is available from your child's school and is posted at

• After reviewing the survey, if you do not want your child to participate, please notify Sato's front office at 503-356-2530.
