SECAC
SECAC works together to put children first. The Committee focuses on open and honest communication, improving effectiveness and accountability, identifying systemic issues, and advocating for appropriate resources. In collaboration with FCPS leadership of Special Education, parents, FCPS staff and community members, the Committee strives to facilitate positive changes in the delivery of special education services and the success and achievements of students with disabilities. Quiet Santa at The Home of Everything Frederick
We will be hosting a Quiet Santa on 11/30 & 12/8 by appointment only. This is for children who have special needs and respond better with limited noise and individual time with Santa. Slots will be 30 minutes long, 11:00am-4:00pm each day. Sign up here
Everybodys Nutcracker 2024
We are thrilled to perform our 4th annual Everybody’s Nutcracker in the MHS Theatre, on Saturday morning, 12/14, 11:30am! Our advanced dancers will be performing an abbreviated Nutcracker for a very special audience! The performance will include excerpts from the Nutcracker, as well as a performance by our Rhythm Works dancers. The performance is FREE, and will be sensory friendly, house lights will remain warm, music will be played at reduced levels to accommodate sensitivities, and there will be no shushing allowed! Everyone should enjoy the show in their own way, and we invite guests to stay as long as they’re comfortable and move around as needed.
PPMD Virtual Art Show
Have your children create their own drawing. Send a photo or scan of your child’s drawing to communications@ppmd.org by December 18th to be showcased during our art show running from December 25th – December 31st.
Maryland Coalition of families
