โ๐ป EIC Family Survey
Pflugerville ISD is part of a middle school math implementation initiative. Part of the initiative allows us to gather data from students, teachers, leaders as well as families and caregivers in our district to help us improve middle school math teaching and learning.
We need to hear from the families and caregivers of our students about their engagements with our schools and how we are able to support them. Your responses are anonymous and confidential, meaning you will not be named in any reporting and your responses will not be tied to your student. The survey is available in English and Spanish.
Please take 15 โ 30 minutes to complete this survey between April 22 โ May 3.
Below are links for each grade level student. Please complete one survey per student. Start by selecting their grade level.
Thank you for sharing your voice with us!

HHS Health Science students create and read books to MES students
Students enrolled in the Medical Terminology class at Hendrickson High School recently learned about the digestive system and created books on the topic. Nothing solidifies learning like teaching so they took the books to Murchison Elementary School and read to their students. It was an engaging and fun activity for everyone!
Medical Terminology is the first level course in the Healthcare Therapeutics program of study, and upon successful completion students can earn articulated college credit. Students in this program can choose a clinical careers pathway or a research/lab pathway and complete a sequence of courses that prepare them for college and careers in healthcare. At the conclusion of the clinical careers pathway students choose to specialize in medical assisting or emergency medical care and earn an industry certification.
That certification can be used to enhance college applications or gain entry-level employment in a healthcare setting. Students in the lab/research careers pathway can take three science lab-based courses including anatomy/physiology, medical microbiology, and pathophysiology. Students can also join the HOSA organization to develop leadership skills, compete at the local, regional, state, and national level, and earn scholarships!
Learn more about the Healthcare Therapeutics program in the CTE Program Guide.

๐ฃ Shout Outs from Parents, Students, and Community Members
Jennifer Rees of Jessica Carpenter Elementary-PreK (via: Yvette N.)
Mrs. Rees is not only a great teacher and role model for her students but she is just a wonderful human being. She genuinely cares about her students and their well-being. I never have to worry if my daughter is in good hands at school. We love Mrs. Rees!
Ariel Hazeur of Pflugerville Middle School (via: Lori W.)
Ms. Hazeur is a dedicated teacher! She has sent an email to parents and students every Sunday this school year detailing the upcoming week's assignments and tutoring opportunities and welcomes questions. Ms. Hazeur also supports the entire PMS campus by attending many extra-curricular activities. Thank you Ms. H for all you do at PMS!
Zack Krasuk of PFISD (via Anthony Gonzalez): Because Mr Krasuk is one of the few math teachers I ever had where I could actually understand the subject well. Since this is my college math course I have been in since august, I have felt like my math skills have improved by a lot. Thus giving me much more of a boost of confidence when I step out into the real world and college. He is also always in class, the amount of sleep, the fact that he's sick, or just going through a lot doesn't affect him. He is always here to make sure we get our work done. And for that I feel like he deserves to be recognized for all his efforts.
Jack Johnson of weiss highschool/sociology and history teacher (via Alissa Loera): Heโs nice and always understanding and his teaching skills always remain helpful to others, heโs very relatable and does his job very well.
Zach Krasuk of Teacher at Weiss (via Serese Williams): He helped me understand math work much better than most teachers.
Zack Krasuk of Weiss High School Algebra II (via Anonymous): For having much patience with his students and continuing to help us despite his hardships.
Zack Krasuk of Weiss Alegebra 2 (via Boston): Great Teacher
ZACK KRASUK of weiss/Algebra 2 (via Brody pollock): He is the only teacher that teaches math a way that I can understand.
Zack Krasuk of Weiss High School (via anonymous): Last year was a rough year to Mr. K, with the loss of his daughter, he still showed up to school, he has been putting up the work, helping us pass his class, staying really late after school.
Mr.K/ Krasua of weiss high school algerbra ll (via Gavoonni white): ongoing/ and willing to help
