Black Joy and Going Back to School
We know there may be some anxiety as summer begins to wind down and we prepare to return back to school. There could be some uncertainty on how to show up unapologetically as families of Black students in SFUSD. Whatever those feelings may be, just know that we see you, hear you and feel you. We stand tall in our AAPAC Mission Statement to Listen, Educate, and Advocate! We know that they often highlight our struggles but they can never silence our JOY!
We invite each of you to join our social media Black Joy Challenge! Tag @sfaapac in photos showing Black Joy using the hashtags #BlackJoyinSF and #SFAAPAC. We look forward to seeing the JOY you all share!
