We'd love to have all of our wonderful class volunteers join us on June 8th at 8:00am before Flag Salute. Please join us for a coffee and special playtime with your child. Infants and toddlers are welcome.

A fun combined event - Our 2nd Grade Field Day and ATeam After Party from 9:00 to 11:00 on Monday, June 11th. We will need several volunteers including 2 for the field day games and 2 to 4 for snacks and fun at the After Party in the classroom.

Our field trip will be on June 13th. We need all students at school by 7:45AM - the bus will leave promptly at 8am. If you miss the bus, we will arrange another class for you to stay with for the day. (District policy is all students must ride the bus to field trips.)

Barnes and Noble also has a Summer Reading Program. Read 8 books and fill out the reading journal. Take it in to a local Barnes and Noble store and pick out your free book from the list (all great books!) https://specialists.barnesandnoble.com/summerreading?summer-reading-lists-for-kids

We've been doing a daily 20 minute reading time and adding to this reading log. The kids love sitting outside with a friend and a book! I challenge all of our families to continue to make time for this! Students can login with their Google login. Once the kids read for 1000 minutes, Bookopolis will send them a free book!
