Farewell and Thank You!

Mr. Kirschenbaum, ELA
7th Grade Summer Reading Task – I have posted your task on CANVAS Modules. Also, you can find the task here - 2024 7th Grade Summer Reading Task.pdf & 2024 7th Grade Summer Reading Task - Spanish.pdf. Please remember to bring in your self-addressed stamped envelope if you have not already done so. Have a great summer.
Mr. O'Malley, Math
Thanks for an AMAZING year everyone! Team Dublin forever! <3
Be sure to brush up on your math skills over the summer. Remember the IM curriculum is available online and practicing our math facts is always helpful 😊. Say good words, do good deeds, be kind, eat your fruits and veggies, love you, have a great summer see you in August!
Ms. Osman, Science
Hello scientists, and goodbye! It's been an incredible year watching you all grow - from the early days of learning about hypotheses, to explorations of space and beyond, to the ground beneath us and the sky above us, and with roots all the way through, it's been an honor! I hope you have a wonderful summer, and please use sun protection when necessary.
The Summer Solstice is this upcoming Thursday, June 20th, where the sun will be at its highest point. This is the longest day of the year, so we will start to see sunrises occurring later after that. Otherwise, the only wish I have is that you keep using your scientific minds and scientific vocabularies. Enjoy your break!
For the ADULTS: Please note that one of the biggest predicators of success in High School is how much a student reads. It does not matter if it is fiction or non-fiction; a graphic novel or a book; a magazine or a newspaper --- it only matters that your student read. Please find time to sit together and read. Next school year, they will be studying BIOLOGY. Consider visiting the Zoo, the Natural History Museum, the Aquarium, the Walter Reed Medical Museum or an outdoor garden. Teach them how to read and write in cursive. Practice the math facts so that there is only a blink from being asked to answering.
Best wishes to all of you and thank you for providing so many wonderful students.
Ms. Osman
Ms. Wesselhoft, Geography

Ms. Patsalos, Intermediate ESOL
Congratulations to all who made progress in their reading and writing skills! It has been wonderful to work with your students.
