Today, we honor generations of America’s veterans — patriots who have stood on the frontlines of freedom and kept the light of liberty shining bright around the world. Just as they have kept the ultimate faith in our Nation, we must keep ultimate faith in them.
Volleyball Takes 5th in State!
Congratulations to the Cardinal Volleyball squad for their 5th place finish in the OSAA 3A State Championship Tournament. The Cards won their first match on Friday vs. Santiam Christian and then fell in the semi-finals to eventual champion, Valley Catholic. On Saturday, the Cards came up short against Pleasant Hill in the match for 3rd. Senior Corner
Seniors are reminded that some colleges and universities had their early action/early application deadlines on November 1st and others are coming up. Each institution sets their own deadline, so students should make sure to check the timelines for the schools they are hoping to attend. If a student missed early action, it just means that they will apply in the next window.
Ms. Pekny, our school counselor, is here to support you and your family every step of the way. If you have any questions at the moment, please reach out to Ms. Pekny at spekny@corbett.k12.or.us and she’ll be happy to help!
Ms. Pekny is also organizing group college visits this fall. Check out the Senior Google Classroom for more information.
