Are your Chromebooks Test Ready?

The Bluebook Kiosk App received an update in January:
- The Bluebook Kiosk App will auto-update when opened on the Chromebook.
- If you are using the Bluebook Kiosk App for any testing this Spring then avoid delays on test day by having your students open the Kiosk app prior to test day to allow the app to auto-update.
iPAD NEWS
Apple Released IOS 18.2 in December
- IOS 18.2 is compatible with 7th gen, 8th gen, and 9th gen iPads
- If you have a 7th gen or above iPad, please make sure that it is updated to IOS 18.2.
- If an iPad is not updated it can cause apps on the iPad to have issues.

Is my iPad Correctly Managed
- All iPads were moved from JAMF Pro to JAMF School during the 2022-2023 school year.
- JAMF School is the management system for all iPads that provides them with their App Library called JAMF School Student, their connection to EDU WIFI, and provides critical updates to the iPads and their apps.
- A quick way to tell if your iPad is correctly in JAMF School is by its background image.
- If you see a dark blue background with a CISD logo or a light blue background with a heart flower then your iPad is correctly in JAMF School.
in JAMF School?
- Another quick way to tell if your iPad is in JAMF School is if the iPad has the JAMF School Student App.
- The JAMF School Student App is the app that you can install approved on-demand apps on your iPad from.
- The JAMF School Student App can be found on the Dock (bottom toolbar of iPad) and is a purple app with a book image on it.
My iPad is not in JAMF School. What should I do?
- If one of your iPads does not have the JAMF School Background or the JAMF School Student app then do the following:
- Wipe the iPad and set it back up to get it to enroll correctly in JAMF School.

I wiped the iPad and it did not correctly enroll in JAMF School. What should I do?
- If your iPad fails to show the blue background or JAMF School Student app after wiping it then the iPad did not correctly enroll in JAMF School and may not be correctly assigned to JAMF School.
- If this occurs you can fill out the iPad App and JAMF School Issues Form to report the problem.

Pro iPad Troubleshooting Tip 💡:
- Wiping an iPad and setting it back up is an easy way to fix many software and app related Issues for an iPad.
DREAMBOX
· Deleting the Dreambox App in Settings and then Re-Installing it from JAMF School Student is a great way to fix Dreambox app issues.
