This week our students completed MAP Growth testing. Our students did a wonderful job testing, we are looking forward to analyzing their data and starting to work with students in small groups.

Join us for a fun filled pizza night & learn about our new Watch D.O.G.S. ® (Dads of Great Students) Program! All Fathers and Father-figures,

On Tuesday, September 24th from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm we will be hosting our exciting SECOND Annual Dads and Kids’ Pizza Night. Join us in the school cafeteria at 6:00 pm for FREE pizza and drinks & at 6:30 pm we will have a presentation about WATCH D.O.G.S.® (Dads of Great Students) Program.

WATCH D.O.G.S.® is an innovative program being used by schools across America which helps them to be positively impacted by the committed involvement of fathers and father-figures in their student’s life. Our goal is to have you spend at least one day this year at the school to be a positive male role model and to provide an extra set of eyes and ears. Dads, granddads, uncles, step-dads & adult brothers . . . this is your chance to have a fun & informative night out with your student.

In order to participate, you need to do two things:

1. Register with the QR Code below (ASAP) saying that you will attend the pizza night so we will have an accurate headcount for the food.

2. Mark your calendars, and we will see you Tuesday, September 24th from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm.

On the third Wednesday in every September, Bush Elementary joins Conroe ISD to celebrate reading! A culture of reading is promoted by our schools by calling to action all adults within the Conroe ISD community to devote at least 30 minutes a day to reading aloud to children. Together we can read for a better life!

Join Conroe ISD and The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on Wednesday, September 18, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. for an evening of literacy-based games, activities, and live arts performances. Each child will receive a free book to take home!

Did you purchase merchandise at Meet the Teacher? Bush Bucks are an incentive used to reward students for exhibiting the Bush Guidelines for Success: Responsibility, Integrity, Kindness, and Resilience.
