Week of January 10th-16th
Issue #18
“Where faith soars, minds excel, and futures ignite”
Greetings STM-STC Families,
It seems that this winter will be a cold and eventful one based on our early snow days. I have posted an updated AOB Snow day policy down below. Before the year started the AOB had us build 3 snow days into our calendar, which for us were March 17th, April 7th and May 5th. At this time we have already used 2 snow days, meaning May 5th and April 7th will NOW BE SCHOOL DAYS. If we use a third snow day, March 17th will become a school day. Snow days 4, 5 will be asynchronous and anything 6+ will be an added day to our school year.
We are also fully into the part of the year where most of our recess time is spent indoors. Based off the future weather pattern, we will be indoors for recess for most of January.
Yours in Christ,
Matt Zipp
Upcoming Early Dismissals & Days Off
Please make sure you are communicating these dates with everyone in your family. There have been a few occasions where students have been here well past the early dismissal times or even on days off, a grand parent or family member is sitting out front waiting for dismissal. See below for the upcoming early dismissals and days off, and forward to those who are responsible for picking your child up. Thank you!
We will ONLY be announcing closures or late openings on Facebook. Please also check WBAL TV for all closings/late openings. We always follow Baltimore County Public Schools. If you have any question, please call the school office.

Re-registration for the 2025-2026 school year has begun! Emails were sent to current families prior to Christmas Break to complete the "Intent to Enroll" form for the 2025-2026 school year. This is the first step in the re-registration process. Please complete this form as soon as possible to inform the school of your family's intent, even if you do not intend on returning. After January 25th, the fee INCREASES to $150.00. All students who have the "Intent to Enroll" form completed will receive a dress down pass! If you have any questions regarding re-registration or need the email resent to you, please contact the school office. We are looking forward to planning another great school year!

Saint Michael the Archangel isn't a saint, but rather he is an angel, and the leader of all angels and of the army of God. This is what the title "Archangel" means, that he is above all the others in rank.
Redemptorist preacher and reformer. Clement preached, built orphanages and schools, and established a vast Redemptorist presence in the city.
