Warrior Weekly News
A Weekly Newsletter for Warrior Families and Students
September 13, 2024
Greetings Warrior Families and Friends,
Wow! Homecoming is a great time at MHS. Students and staff celebrate spirit days dressed as Adam Sandler, in class colors, and engage in an amazing pep rally. It really is a celebration that brings the whole school community together in an impressive way. It is a change for us all to embrace the 1Warrior mindset. This part of Homecoming is exciting as it aligns with one of our building priorities which is to see all of our Warriors connected to the school in a positive way.
Competitions this week gave our Warriors a chance to compete in golf, swim, volleyball, tennis, and football. The support at these events from our community energizes our athletes and pushes them to be even better. The Warrior families our a big part of the success of our athletes. Thank you for all the support!
This second week of school also brought with it many exciting lessons in our classrooms as teachers began labs with their students, began teaching comma rules, and started to deliver exciting content in their courses. The education at MHS is always a priority. One of our priorities this year is to grow all of our students in the area of literacy.
It really is great to be a Muskego Warrior. Have a great weekend!

School Safety
In today’s world, it is crucial for every school system to maintain a heightened awareness of school safety. Rest assured, this will always be our top priority within our school system, and we are committed to ensuring the safety of our students and staff.
We have learned that a middle school student in our neighboring community, Mukwonago, received a threatening image via a social media app on Thursday, September 12th. With support from their police force, they continue investigating the matter. They believe their schools are safe, and they are in session today.
Rest assured, if any form of school threat was received in our district, it would be treated with the utmost seriousness and investigated thoroughly. We are proactive in our approach, and our robust partnership with our local law enforcement agencies ensures that every situation is handled with the necessary diligence.
Events like this create an opportunity for an impactful conversation with your student(s). Please talk with them about how they would respond if they received information of a threatening nature. Remind them of the importance of reporting information immediately to a trusted adult or through our SUSO app. Additionally, remind them that spreading rumors about a threat is also not okay and could result in significant disciplinary and legal actions. Finally, if you hear something as a parent/guardian, please immediately contact our police department. We all share the responsibility to keep our schools safe, and we appreciate your support.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions
