Vision

The vision for North Middle High School is for the culture to be a collaborative community of learners who are engaging students through 21st Century Skills through the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate to become successful world class citizens as we prepare them for college and career readiness.

• IGP (Individual Graduation Plan) conferences have begun. Parents can schedule an IGP meeting using the following link https://bit.ly/2IFH4LJ.
• Parents, please monitor your student’s grades and attendance. Students are only allotted 5 unexcused absences in a semester course and 10 absences in a yearlong course.
• Fee waivers are in for the ACT and SAT. Registration deadlines and test dates are available on the respective test’s website.
• Parents and students: Content recovery is available through APEX for students who have a 59 or below or at your request. Please contact your child’s teacher for more information.
  
• October 1- Governor School for Science and Mathematics classroom visit
• October 3- US Army recruitment
• October 4- FAFSA Day
• October 4- Deadline for seniors to register for the HBCU College Tour at South Carolina State University.
• October 9- ASVAB Testing-All seniors are expected to take the ASVAB as a part of their local graduation requirements.
• October 7-11- Breast Cancer Awareness Week
• October 10- NCAA Clearinghouse Day
• October 12- HBCU College Tour at South Carolina State University
• October 21- End of the first nine weeks
• October 22- College Application Day
• November 1- Parent/Teacher Conferences/Report Cards Issued
