Walk to School Day - Oct 2nd!

Students and their adult(s) are invited to join us for this annual school event. We will meet Wednesday, October 2nd at 7 a.m. at Marine City Beach, begin with brief prayer, take a group picture, then walk down the street (on the sidewalk) together to Holy Cross School arriving by 7:25am or so. Parents can then walk back to get their cars. We hope you'll join us for this fun early-morning event!

Altar server training begins October 16th. We will begin in the church at 7:40am and conclude before school Mass begins (approx 8:40am). It will not be exhaustive, but a good start. This training will be a refresher for current servers and a first training for new servers (grade 3 and up).

We have two vacancies - one is a partial vacancy. Positions on School Committee are two year terms. School Committee is an advisory group to the school principal. It is a policy developing and planning body for the school with focus on the growth and development of the school. Membership is open to parents whose children attend the school and other parishioners who support the important works of the Church. If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else, please email the school at sthimmes@holycrossonline.net.

Instructions: Log in using the ID code above. Once you see the shop page, go the left hand menu and select, "Packages - NOT PERSONALIZED". From there, you can select your package.

NOTE:

1. You will not be able to see your students actual photo when ordering.

2. If you pre-ordered your pictures will be delivered to the school in September.

3. If you did not pre-order, your pictures will be delivered in November with the retake photos (scheduled for Oct 9th).

Our Holy Cross Crusaders XC Team had their first meet..The Algonac Muskrat Classic at Algonac HS. The team performed well and proud of what they are doing. Coach Zammit.

Boys had 275 runners:

Isaac- 2nd of 5th graders
Eli- 4th of 5th graders
Liam- 13th of 7th graders
Blake- 66th of 8th graders
Caden- 40th of 6th graders

Girls had 211 runners:

Ella-53rd of 8th graders
Saoirse- 10th of 6 graders
Lydia- 5th of 5th graders

All volunteers must have a background check and have completed Protecting Gods Children (PGC). If you have not done so please find the background check from HERE and link to PGC below. The background check form can be turned into the office for submittal. A printed PGC certificate of completion can be turned into the school office once done.
