School Rule Reminders
- Per our school handbook, excessive tardiness may result in detention, and repeated instances could lead to an attendance hearing. As a reminder, students are allowed to go to their lockers beginning at 8:05 to get prepared for homeroom, which begins promptly at 8:15 a.m. Students who wish to have breakfast may head to the cafeteria as early as 7:45 a.m. (Earlier entry is permitted for those participating in assigned clubs or activities.) Let’s work together to ensure everyone starts the day on time and ready to go!
- We have recently received reports of students attempting to "pants" or "droop" others by pulling down their pants or shorts. Please remind your students that this behavior is not tolerated and unacceptable. Engaging in such actions will result in suspension.
- There has been an increase in the amount of chewed gum found on the floors, furniture, and other inappropriate places around the school. Please remind students that chewing gum is not permitted in the school building, and this issue is one of the reasons for that policy.
- Please remind your students of the importance of using crosswalks for their safety. When available, they should use only the crosswalks where a crossing guard is present when going to and from school.
- A constant and consistent reminder we give to students is to keep their hands to themselves. This not only ensures that everyone feels safe and comfortable but also helps prevent misunderstandings between friends and peers.

NATIONAL ORIGAMI DAY!
Students had a blast celebrating National Origami Day on November 12th! Some of our amazing DEI Student Council kicked off the day by presenting to homerooms, sharing fun videos on how to craft beautiful origami cranes. Creativity soared as students folded their masterpieces, and the DEI Council brought it all together with a stunning display! A huge thank you to everyone who joined in the fun and made the day unforgettable!
