State testing is over!
Our 7th and 8th graders completed their ACAP state testing this week. We are looking forward to seeing how much our students improved from last year. The students and teachers have been working hard all year for this moment.
Thank you to those who purchased Jack's biscuits for our 7th & 8th graders this week for ACAP testing: Curtis Baker, Jason Cummings, and Mount Hebron Baptist Church. We appreciate the support of our school and our students.
Baseball playoff- Our baseball team swept Elkmont on Friday in the first round of the playoffs. We will host Vinemont on Friday.

New Diploma Options
Click on the link to the article below for a great explanations of the new diploma pathways for high school students. The big takeaways are that parents/guardians and students need to fully informed of the choices and the consequences of the choices. It will much easier to start with Option A and fall back to Option B than vice versa. And, if your child plans to attend a four-year college, Option A is the best. The AHSAA will recognize Option B for athletic eligibility. The NCAA, unlikely.
