1st Nine Weeks
In just a few short weeks we will be at the end of the first nine weeks. It's so hard to believe, time is flying by. The last day of the nine weeks is October 10th.
As we approach the end of the nine weeks I want to encourage parents to check in with your students' teachers on a regular basis. Time can slip by and students' will not realize how soon it can get away from them and then it gets down to the wire getting things turned in.
All teachers have a tutoring schedule which I am including below. Students are encouraged to attend tutorials on a regular basis and keep up with their grades.

Tips for Learning
Here are some tips to help your student with math and help them be more successful.
- Ask your student what type of math problems they like to solve. Encourage them to research positions or jobs they may be interested in and how that particular math strategy would apply to that position.
- Encourage your student to talk about math frequently. What concepts are they learning? What do they feel they do well in math? Where do they feel they may need extra support in math?
- Help them find resources they feel will be beneficial to them in math. Encourage them to attend tutorials and seek help from their teacher(s).
Working together we will make this the best year yet.
A note from your principal
Each day our students and staff amaze me.
Our staff works so hard each and every day. They put forth every effort to ensure that our students receive the best education. Our students choose each and every day to put forth their best effort. I see them in classrooms have conversations about the work and how they can apply what they are learning to their lives now and in the future. It makes my heart happy to see them excited about learning.
Thank you for sharing your students with us each day. Thank you for giving us the chance to work with them and help them to become more successful.
