Message from Principal and Assistant Principal
Dear Keystone Families and Staff,
As we are quickly approaching the end of the school year, our scholars will continue to be working hard on their final round of diagnostic assessments. Diagnostic assessments provide us with a snapshot of student progress, helping us to track and analyze the growth and progress, that our learners made this school year.
Field day and end of the year celebrations are coming up soon! Please make sure to keep an eye on more information in our weekly newsletters and communication from your child(ren)'s teachers.
🎶 Congratulations to Mrs. Finsterbusch, Mr. Pawlikowski, and Our Amazing Student Performers! 🎶
What an incredible chorus and band concert last week! A big thank you to Mrs. Finsterbusch and Mr. Pawlikowski for their outstanding leadership, dedication, and the time and care they put into preparing our students.
To our awesome performers—you were AMAZING! We loved seeing your big smiles, confident playing, and beautiful singing. You showed what practice, teamwork, and having fun can do! Thank you for making us all so proud and for filling the room with joy and music. 🎵👏
🎶 Also, a huge shout out to all of our students who joined band and chorus this school year! 🎶
We are so proud of your enthusiasm, commitment, and willingness to try something new. Whether you're learning a new instrument, finding your voice, or growing your musical skills, your efforts are truly something to celebrate. Keep up the great work!

Field Day Information
Our fabulous PTO has purchased field day shirts for each of our students. So, each student will receive a complementary shirt from the PTO, sometime in June.
Each classroom may distribute their shirts differently. Some may wait the day before field day to distribute the shirts and some may hand them out the day of field day so they don't get misplaced at home. Either way, all students will have a field day shirt prior to starting their events for the day.
Many thanks to our PTO for funding all the shirts!

Visiting Keystone Elementary School Procedures
To ensure the safety and well-being of everyone at Keystone Elementary, we ask that all families and staff follow the guidelines and procedures below:
Entry & Exit: For everyone’s safety, we kindly ask that all families enter from Church Street and exit via Tulip Avenue, unless you need to use the accessible parking spots. Those spaces are reserved for vehicles with a valid handicap placard or license plate. If you're dropping off your child by car, please use the car rider line — it's the safest and most efficient way to ensure a smooth arrival. Dropping students off in the parking lot is not allowed for safety reasons.
Handicap Parking:
Only families with a valid handicap placard or license plate are legally permitted to park in the designated accessible parking spots.
. Anyone who parks illegally in these spots could be subject to fines or other penalties.
Parking Guidelines:
Parking in front of or behind other vehicles that are parked in parking lot spaces is not allowed. This blocks cars from leaving their parking space and creates a safety issue.
Drive Slowly:
Please drive slowly and carefully when entering and exiting to ensure everyone's safety.
Crosswalks:
Please use the designated crosswalks when walking through the parking lot to escort your child(ren) to or from Keystone, to ensure everyone’s safety.
Safety Assistance:
The Bristol Township police have been present and will continue to be present for the time being to assist with ensuring the safety of all that come to Keystone. They will be making sure that the above procedures are being followed, in order to ensure the safety and well-being of all that come to Keystone.
- Additionally, we have been in regular communication with Luke Miller, our district's head of security, to ensure that our arrival and safety procedures are effective, up to date, and designed to keep everyone safe.
Thank you for your cooperation and assistance in ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone at Keystone Elementary. It is our collective responsibility to keep everyone safe.

Kindergarten Registration for 2025-2026 School Year
Registration is now open for kindergartner registration for the 2025-2026 school year. For any questions please email keystone.registration@bristoltwpsd.org . Electronic submissions of registration paperwork will be accepted via that email address as well.
Kindergarten
A child is eligible for admission to kindergarten if they have attained the age of five (5) years on or before September 1st. Upon written request of the parent/guardian the board may admit a child for Kindergarten who has not met the age requirement, if that child can demonstrate readiness for entry by the first day of the school term. Readiness for entry will be determined by using a district wide screener that will measure academic levels. Written requests for this screener but be submitted on or before August 1st.
A student who has not met the age requirement and is attending a private kindergarten program (fully accredited or not) will not be admitted to a district kindergarten program unless that child can demonstrate readiness for entry by the first day of the school term. A student who is currently attending a public kindergarten program but does not meet the age requirement may be admitted to kindergarten.

If you would like to send something in to celebrate their child's birthday or a classroom party, you may send in non food items such as stickers, pencils, play dough etc.
Attendance Policy
- Reminder, when your child is absent a written excuse note is required.
- For the first 10 absences the note may be from the parent.
- It can be in an email to the school secretary who handles attendance, at heather.saeger@bristoltwpsd.org
- If your child misses more than 10 days of school, then we only accept a medical note.
- Please email or send in the note within 10 days of their return to school, this is a PA State Law.
Dismissal Changes Communication
In order to maintain the safety of all our learners, we are asking that families alert teachers, in writing, (written note) for any transportation/dismissal plan changes prior to 9:00am each morning.
If for some reason a written note is not able to be written prior to 9:00am, an email must be sent to our secretary at heather.saeger@bristoltwpsd.org in addition to your child's teacher. Please keep in mind, that if your child's teacher is absent for the day, and you only write to your child's teacher, the office will not be aware of any early dismissal or transportation changes for your child(ren).
We do understand that emergencies may arise throughout the day that requires a change to a child's dismissal plan for that particular day. For those situations, please make sure you are alerting the office staff as soon as possible, so they can communicate the change to the teachers as soon as possible.
We thank you for your support in helping us ensure the safety and well-being of each of our learners.
