A sneak peak at what our second grade Bobcats are up to:
.
As they thought about story elements, they stopped and jotted about their books in small groups.
They love their computer science rotation every Thursday.
They partnered up with their fourth grade buddies to share their non fiction books. They are experts on so many topics!
Our Santa Rita 4th graders have been hard at work crafting literary essays. They're diving deep into their stories, cutting apart text to find the perfect evidence to support their ideas.

LETTER FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Santa Rita Families,
Our newsletter is quite full of great information this week. Please take note of the upcoming events taking place at our school and in our district.
Attendance Reminder
Please remember that attendance is compulsory. Absences due to illness, medical appointments, religious holiday observance, or bereavement are considered excused. All other absences are considered unexcused.
Reminder: Let's Keep Those Tardies Down!
We've been doing a fantastic job of getting our students to school on time lately, and we want to keep that momentum going!
Being on time for school is crucial for student success. It allows students to:
Start the day focused: They can join their classmates for morning routines and jump right into learning.
Minimize missed instruction: Every minute counts, and arriving late can cause students to miss important lessons.
Develop important life skills: Being punctual is a valuable life skill that benefits students both in and out of the classroom.
We appreciate your partnership in ensuring our students arrive at school ready to learn.
