High Plains Elementary

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th Graders will be participating in state CMAS testing beginning next week! Please ensure that students have a good breakfast each morning and are on time. If students are late they will not be able to enter their classroom. We look forward to our students demonstrating everything that they have learned this year!

• Beginning Monday, Feb 3rd, we will no longer be signing students out early at the front office after 2:30 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and 1:30 on Wednesdays. If you need to pick your student up early for an appointment, please plan accordingly.
• Attendance Line: 720-554-3637, please be sure to call if your student will be absent.
• Please make sure your contact information is up-to-date in the my.cherrycreekschools Parent Portal so you will receive important weather and emergency updates from CCSD. Verify and/or update your information at my.cherrycreekschools.org.

• Please do not use the loop in front of the school for student pick-up or drop-off. This space is reserved for ride-shares and buses. The loop on the west side of the school is for student pick-up and drop-off.
• Please do not allow students to play on the playground or field after school
• Before & Aftercare (GTG) needs access to the playgrounds and field after school.
• They are not able to be in spaces with non registered students, it is a violation with their licensing.
• No Dogs on Campus!
• While we love our furry friends, please do not bring dogs on school property

We are participating in two art shows celebrating 50 students' hard work and creativity.

The West Area Art Show at Cherry Creek High School will include artworks from eleven High Plains artists. Please join us on Friday, April 11th from 4- 6:30pm in the Fine Arts building hallway to celebrate their hard work. The art show coincides with the CCHS Fine Arts Friday Event with art-making activities for the whole family. We hope to see you there!
