Dear Parents,

Welcome to what promises to be a remarkable 2024-2025 school year! Starting September 5 you and your child will launch into 181 school days of new memories. Over the course of the next 181 school days, your children will have a ripe 76,020 minutes to explore new ideas, form lasting friendships, and delve into the wonders of learning. Whether they're discovering the joy of reading, exploring the arts, or finding their passion in science and math, each minute is a chance to create moments that will shape who they are and who they will become. We believe that every child has the potential to create something extraordinary, and we are committed to providing an environment where they can thrive. Our dedicated educators are eager to guide and inspire your children, fostering a love of learning and a sense of curiosity that will carry them through the year and beyond. We also recognize the invaluable role that you, as parents and guardians, play in your children's education. Your support and involvement are crucial to their success, and we encourage you to stay engaged throughout the year assisting us in making those memorable moments.

As we begin this journey together, let's embrace the opportunity to make each moment count. The principals of each school will be sending parents their welcome back newsletters in the coming days. Genesis will go live for all class assignments and student schedules on August 21 at 2:00 P.M.

Private preschool providers will communicate welcome back information to all parents. Some preschool providers may have already reached out to parents. All providers will communicate class assignments by August 21.

Superintendent and HSA Joint Event: Welcome New Families

August 28, 2024 @ 6:00 P.M. in the Board Office Conference Room (next to Holland Brook School) at 52 Readington Road. Light refreshments will be provided. If you are interested in attending please RSVP at rsvp@readington.k12.nj.us.

September 4 In-District Open Houses

TBS/WHS: Kindergarten Bus Ride 11:30 am; Kindergarten Open House 12-12:45 pm.

TBS/WHS: Preschool Open House and Parent Orientation 12:30-1:15 pm.

TBS/WHS: Grades 1-3 New Family Orientation 12:30-1:00 pm; Grades 1-3 Open House 1:00-2:00 pm.

HBS : Open House 2:00-3:00 pm.

RMS: Open House 1:00-2:00 pm.

September 4 Private Preschool Provider Open Houses

Berry Patch: Open House 3:30-4:30 pm.

Global Pioneer: Open House 10-11:15 am.

Stanton Learning Center: Open house 10-11am.

Whitehouse Prep: Open Houses will be scheduled according to teacher at 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm. Please see communication from Whitehouse Prep.

All district schools and offices will be closed on Tuesday, September 3 from 8:00-10:00 am. All district staff will be attending the Welcome Back Celebration and Meeting.
