Patton Parent Update

Patton Parents,

We will celebrate our teachers and staff this week during Teacher Appreciation Week. I appreciate the donated items that will help the staff feel appreciated as we get closer to wrapping up another school year.

Track season was officially over last Monday with the Patton Invitational Track meet. Thank you to the coaches, students, and families for making it another successful season!

On Tuesday, May 7, there is a fundraiser for the Odyssey of the Mind teams at IHOP from 4:00pm -10:00pm. Please see the information below for details.

The standardized tests (state and Star) have been completed for this school year. Classroom assignments, quizzes and/or tests will continue through the end of the school year. We have some fun activities planned for the 9th grade students during their last day of school, May 15, and on Thursday, May 23 for 6th-8th grade students.

Our school and district have implemented a visitor/volunteer registration system. Everyone coming to Patton to either visit (have lunch, talk with the nurse, attend a meeting outside of the main office, etc) or volunteer (scheduled with a staff member to assist in a classroom or with students) will need to check in with this system. The initial registration will take a bit longer (please see the attached information on this process). Please be aware that office staff will ask that you use this system each time you are at Patton and will be going beyond the main office space.

We are almost finished the year! We are asking for donations of tissues. If parents want to donate tissues for the students, the boxes can be given to the front office. Thank you for your continued support!
