NWEA Testing Week - We will be administering our final round of NWEA MAP testing in Reading, Language and Math this week. The NWEA is an adaptive test that we give to students three times throughout the year to measure their growth over time. Thank you for supporting your child by making sure that he or she gets a good night's sleep and arrives on time for breakfast on testing days. Please see the important dates below to know what days your student will be testing.
Staff Appreciation Week - If you would like to show your appreciation for our staff, please deliver a potluck lunch item to the lounge of the school that your child attends sometime before 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6th. We have staff lounges in the Lower School, Junior High and Upper School. If you have children at more than one school, just pick one lounge. Any contribution is appreciated. If your family is already contributing on one of the other days, please do not feel like you need to give more than once. Thank you for your ongoing support of our school. We LOVE working with your children!
Drama Club Production - This Friday and Saturday at 7pm, come see an amazing production of A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare. It's free to attend and support the many 7th, 8th and 9th graders that have worked very hard.
Color Run Fundraiser - Gallup Children's Museum is hosting another Color Run fundraiser on May 10th at Rehoboth School. If there are any Hozho Students interested in volunteering to host a color station (like last year where you spray runners with color powder), please email Kimberly Suk at <kimberlygsuk@gmail.com>. We would need between 4-8 people for a station. It could be a sports team, NHS, etc.
