Welcome Families from Carter Elementary!
School Board Approves Option 3 to Level the South East Side of the District
We want to extend a warm welcome to our new family members from Carter Elementary for the 2024-2025 school year! Our motto is "We are here to help!" Raising a child is a joint partnership that we take pride in sharing with you. Campbell Elementary is fully committed to the success of all students as they journey to become life-long learners. We value each and every child who comes through our doors. We have a belief of "Once a Cougar ~ Always a Cougar." Please read our value statements below.
For our new families, please check your correct enrollment path during this transition period by following these steps:
To locate where a student would attend school for the 24. 25 school year based on an address:
- On the district web page in the blue bar at the top of the page, click My Bus/School.
- In the middle of the next page, under transportation, click on the blue button Find My Bus/School.
- You will see the attendance zones color coded. If you click on one of the color-coded zones, it will tell you what school that zone attends.
- Under the left-hand side, you can click the level of school you want to find. It defaults to 24.25 school year.
- There is also a search feature in the middle of the page so you can enter an address. After you enter the address and click enter, the schools will show on the left-hand side that the address is zoned to.
Registration of new students: Please call Campbell at 832-223-1300 to set up an appointment with Mrs. Agner to get registration taken care of for the 2024-2025 school year. She will be happy to assist you through the process.

4th Nine Weeks Attendance Reward ends May 16, 2024
Attendance Percentage Drops to 95%
Thank you parents for helping our Cougars learn about the value of attending school! Students miss critical instruction when not in class. Every day counts!
1st Nine Weeks Attendance Rate - 97%
2nd Nine Weeks Attendance Rate - 96%
3rd Nine Weeks Attendance Rate - 94.5%
Let's finish strong! Between March 18 - May 16, if your student has perfect attendance he/she will earn an ice cream treat on Friday, May 17.
Over half of absences are potentially preventable, including routine medical or dental checkups, traveling, or just skipping school. Student absences are costly to our campus in a variety of ways:
- Students can’t learn: If a student is not present at school, they are missing opportunities to learn, to socialize, to gain confidence, and to be inspired.
- Teachers can’t teach: It is much more difficult for teachers to teach effectively when they are “catching up” students who have missed.
- Lost revenue: The state funds schools based on daily attendance - so every day missed costs schools money. This means missing out on teachers, programs, and materials due to lack of funding. Each day your student misses costs your school money. But it’s not just the money! The consequences of poor attendance are huge: those students with the highest absentee rates were ten times as likely to drop out of school.

Collared (polo style, no logo) solid color in navy blue, red or white tops. Uniform bottoms, including pants, capris, shorts, skirts, skorts, or jumpers must be Khaki, navy blue, or black. Shorts, dresses, skirts must be no shorter than mid-thigh. If leggings or tights are worn, they must be under shorts, skirts, or jumpers and must be one of these solid colors (khaki, navy, blue, black, grey, red, or white). Blue denim jeans permitted on Friday with school spirit shirt.
Clarifications:
- If shorts, dresses or skirts are shorter than mid-thigh wear a pair of mid-thigh biker shorts under the garments to make the length acceptable.
- Students are required to wear their ID's daily.
- Make sure blue shirts are navy and not a light blue.
- Red shirts are a bright red not maroon or orange.
- Uniform bottoms are standard uniform material (Chino) and not athletic wear.
- Leggings need to be one of the solid solors stated in the dress code with no prints.
- Leggings are worn under shorts, skirts or jumpers and not independently.
- Friday sprit wear consists of jeans with any of our t-shirts that has Campbell printed on the shirt. If a Friday is a holiday, then spirit day will be the day before on Thursday. We love to show our school spirit!
