Advent Week 2: PEACE
Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.
O, Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
it is in dying that we are born again to eternal life.

#InspiredToServe: Franco's Incredible Impact
This week, we are thrilled to highlight the amazing work of Franco and his family in our Wolf Weekly. Inspired by our school’s #InspiredToServe theme and the Division Faith Theme, Inspired by Christ to Encounter, Nurture, and Serve, Franco took action to support Jasper residents recovering from this summer’s devastating forest fires.
With determination and compassion, Franco, along with his sibling, embarked on an unforgettable journey to help those in need. In just two weeks, they collected an incredible 38 boxes of supplies and delivered them to the Jasper community on November 8, 2024. Along the way, they witnessed both the beauty of nature and the heartbreaking destruction caused by the fires, gaining a deeper understanding of service and resilience.
We are so proud of the impact Franco and his family have made and are inspired by how they have lived out our faith theme. Their story reminds us of the power of small actions fueled by big hearts. Thank you for being an example of hope and service! 🌟

#InspiredToServe: Grade 6-5 Faith in Action
Today, our Grade 6-5 students, led by Mrs. Cote, brought the spirit of Advent to the residents of Aspen Ridge Seniors Home as part of their Religion Faith Walk. With joyful hearts, the students sang Christmas carols for and with the residents, spreading holiday cheer. They also shared beautifully crafted Advent cards they made in Religion class, sparking smiles and heartfelt conversations.
This meaningful visit was a testament to our school’s #InspiredToServe theme, reminding us of the joy that comes from nurturing connections and bringing light to others during Advent.
A heartfelt thank you to parents for your support and encouragement as our students grow in their faith journey. Together, we continue to build a community that serves with love and compassion. 🌟
