A Message from the Superintendent
Entering a Season of Thanks
Happy almost-Thanksgiving, ACPS!
I hope that this holiday break will bring you relaxation, good food, and quality time spent with loved ones. As we enter the holiday season, I hope you will also take a moment to pause and reflect on the growth and achievements of this school year.
One item of note from this semester is the transition of Families Helping Families from a nonprofit to a legacy fund that is now housed under the Albemarle Foundation for Education! This transition will allow Families Helping Families connect more directly and broadly with our school community and help the AFE provide even more resources to our schools. Make sure to give the recording of our latest Community Information Session below a watch for more information if you weren't able to make it to the meeting!
Thank you once again for all that you do to make our school community so exceptional. I look forward to seeing everyone back after the break, refreshed and ready for the opportunities that await in the new year.
Sincerely,
Dr. Matthew Haas
Superintendent
