2nd Quarter Report Card
Report cards for the 2024-2025 academic school year will be available online on for families via Synergy ParentVUE, contingent upon the activation of your parent account. Quarter 2 Report cards will be viewable on February 5th.
Students are also able to access their report card through Synergy StudentVUE.
If you need your unique activation code, please stop in the office to request yours.

2nd Semester Bell Schedule
Every Minute Matters!
SCHOOL STARTS EACH DAY AT 8:40 AM!
NEW dismissal time of 3:50 begins January 17th.
Parents, please ensure your child is at school ON TIME BEFORE 8:30 am each day. We need you to commit to getting your student to school ON TIME! If you have a student driver, please discuss with them your expectation to be at school prior to the 8:30 bell.
Students may arrive on campus as early as 8:00 am. Free breakfast is served in the cafeteria each day, 8:00 am - 8:30 am. First bell is at 8:30 am. Students have 10 minutes to arrive on time to 1st period. Tardy bell for 1st period is at 8:40 am, all students should be in their classrooms ready to learn!
Absences shall be reported to the school attendance office by the parent/legal guardian on the day the absence occurred. The number to be called to report an absence on the day of the absences is 813-672-5405 ext. 224

Horatio Alger Scholarship
The Horatio Alger Scholarship Program offers over 600 scholarships of up to $25,000 each.
This scholarship is designed to help students transform adversity into opportunity and achieve their higher education goals. Along with financial support, recipients also receive personalized financial aid counseling, college selection advising, and other valuable services.
The application deadline is March 1, so there’s still time for your students to apply. I encourage you to share this opportunity with any eligible students who could benefit from this life-changing support.
We have many scholarships available, and we’re eager to see quality applicants take advantage of them.

The 2025 HSF Scholar Program
The 2025 HSF Scholar Program Application is now open and closes on February 15, 2025, 2:00 PM PT. We encourage you to share this opportunity with students in your network.
Deadline: February 15, 2025, 2:00 PM PT Eligibility: About HSF: Founded in 1975, HSF has awarded over $756 million in scholarships. HSF Scholars have access to valuable Scholar Support Services and, as funding permits, scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000. Additional Important Information: HSF Scholar Application Timeline:
HSF empowers families with the knowledge and resources to successfully complete a higher education, while providing scholarships and support services to as many exceptional students as possible.

Science of Beauty Workshop (11th & 12th Grade Students)
The Cultural Enrichment Program of the Gamma Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated invites you to an engaging and inspiring Science of Beauty Workshop on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. This exciting event will take place at Embarc Collective, a vibrant hub for innovation and entrepreneurship located at 802 E. Whiting Street in Tampa.
Prepare to delve into the captivating world of the beauty industry as we explore its scientific underpinnings. Participants will have the unique opportunity to hear from a dynamic local entrepreneur who transformed her aspirations into a successful product line, sharing insights and experiences that can ignite their entrepreneurial spirit. The workshop will showcase the incredible resources available at Embarc Collective, renowned for being one of the most exceptional incubation programs globally. Here, women entrepreneurs are empowered and equipped with the tools and knowledge to turn their visions into reality.
