1. Winter Break
Gulf Coast High School faculty and staff would like to wish all of our students and their families a very safe, relaxing winter break and holiday time. We hope everyone enjoys the time off with their friends and family as we wrap up 2024 and head into 2025.

Coach Garcia is having baseball tryouts in January. Jan 6-12 will be arm care/conditioning from 2:30-4:30 at the baseball fields. Tryouts are Jan 13-14 with 9th and 10th graders 2:30-4:30 and 11th-12th graders from 5:00-7:00.

Congratulations to Madeline Loeffler and Tate Kelly! Both of these students were honored and received scholarships at the Golden Gate VFW for their winning entries in the Voice of Democracy essay contest.
Shout out to our AMAZING GCHS Sharks Booster Club for organizing the 4th Annual Sharks Cookie Exchange. We appreciate all the families who contributed to the cookie exchange and providing the faculty and staff with sweet, yummy treats!
Shout out and THANK YOU to Dr. Herring, testing coordinator. She has been working diligently to ensure students are taking necessary assessments - including retakes of required state tests and district exams. Her attention to detail is outstanding - and GCHS appreciates her so much!!
