Message from your school counselor - Lakisha Bostick
Happy Friday! Big Thank You to all the seniors who applied to colleges this week. You still have until Sunday at 11:59pm to take advantage of Free College Application Week. We had a total of 10 students who received gift cards and many of you took advantage of the free lunch yesterday. It was so good to see so many of you in the building. Please remember that you must put my information on your common app application as your school counselor in order to complete your application with common app. Also, all students must submit the bragg sheet located in this newsletter if you need a counselor letter of recommendation. There are also hard copies in my office. Letters will be ready within five business days. Lastly, some students have been accepted into colleges, please send all acceptances and scholarship awards to Ms. Bostick or Ms. Jang.
Juniors, you will take the PSAT on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. All Juniors should have received a physical letter in your high school class that gives details on what steps need to be taken as well as a letter for your college professors. A digital copy of both letters are available in this newsletter.
All members of We are Queens and We are Kings, started a fundraiser for our end of year trip this week. Parents, please help support your student. We are selling chocolate bars to help with the cost of the field trip.
I hope you all have an enjoyable weekend!
