September 10th is World Suicide Prevention Day, this week serves as a poignant reminder of the problems of suicide, and what we can do as individuals and as communities to reduce suicide. Suicide remains a sensitive and often misunderstood subject. It's important to recognize that suicidal thoughts can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, or background. For young people, navigating the complexities of adolescence alongside academic pressures, social dynamics, and personal challenges can sometimes lead to feelings of hopelessness or isolation. While it can feel difficult to talk about, it's important we foster open dialogue and understanding around mental health within our families. Educating ourselves about suicide, the risk factors, warning signs, and how we can support the people around us can be life-saving information.

Virtual Theory Clinic is occurring on Tuesday September 24th from 6:00pm - 10:00 pm

Practical Clinic is scheduled for October 4 and/or 5 in Westlock (Other practical opportunities can be made available on additional weekends in other communities across Zone 6)
